This Saturday, contemporary R&B artist Trey Songz will take the stage for the final night of Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras. Throughout his music career, Trey Songz has released five albums that reached the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. His album Ready won the 2010 BET Award for Best Male R&B Artist and led to six hit singles, including, “I Need a Girl,” “Successful” and “LOL Smiley Face.” 

Before the concert, guests can catch colorful beads by the handful during the festive Mardi Gras parade, which features 12 vibrant floats. Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras continues this weekend with a musical performance by award-winning country group The Band Perry on Saturday, April 11.

The Band Perry, comprised of siblings Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry and Neil Perry, rose to fame with their quadruple-platinum song “If I Die Young,” their platinum song “You Lie,” and their No. 1 Billboard Hot Country song “All Your Life.” Combining country, pop and rock sounds, the musical trio has continued their success by winning multiple CMT and CMA awards, receiving Grammy and Billboard award nominations and selling out worldwide tours. Florida’s biggest party is still in full swing this weekend at Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras with a musical performance by “American Idol” season 11 winner Phillip Phillips on Saturday, March 28.

Phillips’ first single, “Home,” became the best-selling and most successful coronation song of any ‘Idol’ winner. He has since had other popular singles including “Gone, Gone, Gone,” “Raging Fire” and “Unpack Your Heart”— all of which showcase his rugged, pop-folk vocal style. Currently, the singer-songwriter is preparing for a co-headlining tour with American rock band, O.A.R, this summer, which will feature songs from his latest album, “Behind The Light.”

Three incredible musical acts are set to take center-stage this weekend at Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras celebration – pop singer Becky G, Latin superstar Yandel and alternative rock band The B-52s.

Best known for her hit singles, “Shower” and “Can’t Get Enough,” pop sensation Becky G will perform this Friday, March 20 on Universal Studios Florida’s Music Plaza stage.

On Saturday, March 21, guests can enjoy a live performance by reggaeton musician and songwriter, Yandel. The Puerto Rican entertainer first joined the music scene as part of the Latin pop duo Wisin & Yandel. His latest album, “De Líder a Leyenda,” debuted at No. 1on the U.S. Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.

The B-52s will top off the Mardi Gras weekend on Sunday, March 22. With more than 20 million albums sold, their unique party band style has made them one of the most popular rock bands for more than 25 years. Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration continues this weekend, featuring live concerts by MKTO, Styx, and American Authors. Best known for their hit single, “Classic,” pop, hip-hop and R&B duo MKTO will rock out on Universal Studios Florida’s Music Plaza stage on Friday, March 13.

On Saturday, March 14, guests can enjoy a live performance by classic rock band, Styx. With their chart-topping hit singles, “Come Sail Away,” “Renegade,” “Blue Collar Man” and “Fooling Yourself,” Styx was the first band ever to release four consecutive triple-platinum albums.

American Authors will take the stage on Sunday, March 15. This popular alternative rock band is best known for their multi-platinum single, “Best Day of My Life,” which was named the No.1 most played song in 2014 on Adult Pop Radio.

Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras celebration continues this weekend with a musical performance by chart-topping country singer Trace Adkins on Saturday, March 7.

 

With more than 10 million albums sold, the Grand Ole Opry member has topped the Billboard country music charts with hits like “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing,” “Ladies Love Country Boys” and “You’re Gonna Miss This.” In addition, Adkins previously won Donald Trump’s reality-show competition, “Celebrity Apprentice,” in 2013 and has hosted the American Country Awards on FOX for four consecutive years.
