Lark Hotels to Arrive in Napa with Opening of White House

Lark Hotels, the award-winning brand known for its collection of design-driven boutique hotels, will launch its second California property when White House opens its doors in Napa in March 2016.

The boutique hotel, which features a resort-like feel with tailored grounds and an outdoor pool, is ideally located in vibrant downtown Napa — a quick stroll from top eateries, shops, galleries, nightlife, farmers markets, and wine tasting rooms. Currently undergoing a complete renovation, White House will offer a chic, modern look blended with gracious wine country hospitality.

Behind a striking, white-columned facade, guests will find 17 rooms and suites in palettes of greens, blues, earth tones, and crisp whites. All accommodations will feature luxe amenities including ultra-comfortable beds, bathrooms with walk-in tiled showers, Tivoli Bluetooth radios, and fully loaded iPads directing guests on what to see, do, and taste in the Napa region.

Lark Hotels’ signature breakfast of curated small plates will be served daily in the hotel’s large guest lounge and cafe. A popular feature pioneered at Lark’s New England hotels, this “tapas for breakfast” concept will be a defining amenity for White House in the Napa market. Selections will include fruit and cheese plates, freshly baked pastries, vitamin-rich smoothies, and specialty savory items, such as caprese baked eggs.

In the courtyard, guests will enjoy lounging by the private pool and hot tub surrounded by plush chaises and two courtyard fire pits. A poolside spa offers an array of massage and body treatments. On another section of the grounds, an outdoor table and additional fire pit provide a great gathering spot for groups and friends traveling together.

Nightly rates at White House will vary depending on room choice and time of travel and range from $209-$479. Rates include complimentary onsite parking.

In California, White House joins Blue Door Group – Inns of Mendocino, a collection of three inns set in the heart of historic Mendocino. Originally consisting of primarily New England properties, Lark Hotels hopes to further grow its west coast presence.
