Three incredible musical acts are set to take center-stage this weekend at Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras celebration – pop singer Becky G, Latin superstar Yandel and alternative rock band The B-52s.
Best known for her hit singles, “Shower” and “Can’t Get Enough,” pop sensation Becky G will perform this Friday, March 20 on Universal Studios Florida’s Music Plaza stage.
On Saturday, March 21, guests can enjoy a live performance by reggaeton musician and songwriter, Yandel. The Puerto Rican entertainer first joined the music scene as part of the Latin pop duo Wisin & Yandel. His latest album, “De Líder a Leyenda,” debuted at No. 1on the U.S. Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.
The B-52s will top off the Mardi Gras weekend on Sunday, March 22. With more than 20 million albums sold, their unique party band style has made them one of the most popular rock bands for more than 25 years. Some of their most notable, upbeat hits include, “Rock Lobster,” “Roam” and the beloved classic hit, “Love Shack.”
Before each concert, guests can catch colorful beads by the handful during the festive Mardi Gras parade, which features 12 vibrant floats. Guests can also visit Universal Studios Florida’s very own French Quarter Courtyard to enjoy authentic Cajun cuisine and see performances by bands pulled straight from Bourbon Street.
